Kaski District is a district of  Gandaki Zone, administrative headquarters of this district is Pokhara, located in Western Development Region of Nepal. It is situated in the height of 450 meters to 3937 meters from sea level and its area is 2017 square kilometers. Total population of Kaski district is 492,098 according to census 2068 B.S. (2011 A.D.). Main profession of the residents in this district are tourism, business, jobs and agriculture. Its agricultural land is 19780 hectare  there are 43 village development that  are Ghandruk, Dangsing, Lumle, Salyan, Dhampus. dhikurpokhari, Bhadauretamagi, Chapakot, Kaskikot, Sarangkot, Pumdibhumdi, Kristinachne chaur, Nirmalpokhari. Bharatpokhari, Deurali, Siddha, Thumki, Hansapur, Majhthana, Saimarang, Bhachok, Mijuredanda, Kalika. Thumakodanda, Arwabijayapur, Kahun, Bhalam, Mauja, Sildujure, Rupakot, Lamachaur, Puranchaur, Sardikhola. Armala, Namarjung, parche, Machhapuchre, Lwangghalel, Ghachok, Rivan, Lahachok, Dhital, Hyangja. There are two Municipalities in this district that are Pokhara Municipality and Lekhnath Municipality. Main tourism heritages in this district are Pokhara valley, Phewalake, Begnas Lake, Rupa Lake, Sarangkot, Naudanda, Dhampus, Mahendra cave, devis falls. Main residents of this district are Gurung, Bramhin, Chhetri, Kami, Magar etc.
