Jajarkot District is a district of  Bheri Zone, administrative headquarters of this district is Jajarkot, located in Mid-Western Development Region of Nepal. It is situated in the height of 610 meters to 5412 meters from sea level and its area is 2230 square kilo meters. Total population of this district is 171,304 according to census 2068 B.S. (2011 A.D.). Main profession of the residents in this district is agriculture. Its agricultural land is 14965.1 hectare there are 30 village development committees that are Nayakwada, Bhagawatitole, Ragda. Sakla, Kharenkot, Laha, Ramidanda, Rokayagaon, Paik, Dhime, Dandagaon, Khalanga, Jagatipur, Bhur. Punma, Jhapra, Karkigaon, Sima, Jungathapachour, Thalarekar, Salma, Dasera, Suwanauli, Majkot, Kortang. Garkhakot, Daha, Archani, Talegaon, Padaru. There is not Municipality in this district. Main residents of this district are Thakuri Bramhin, Chhetri, Kami, Magar etc.
