Rasuwa District is a district of  Bagmati Zone, administrative headquarters of this district is Dhunche, situated in Central Development Region of Nepal. It is situated in the height of 518 meters to 7000 meters from sea level and its area is 1544 square kilometers. Total population of Rasuwa district is 43,300 according to census of 2068 B.S. (2011 A.D.). Main profession of the residents in this district is agriculture. Its agricultural land is 5031.2 hectare, there are 18 village development committees that are Langtang, Timure, Briddhim, Shyabru, Thuman, Goljung, Gatlang. Chilime, Hanku, Dhunche, Dandagaon, Thulogaon, Ramche, Yarsha, Laharepauwa, Jibjibe, Bhorle, Saramthali. There is not any Municipality in this district. Main residents of this district are Tamang, Bramhin, Chhetri, Gurung, Newar etc.
