Kalikot District is a district of  Karnali Zone, administrative headquarters of this district is Manma, Located in Mid-Western Development Region of Nepal. It situated in the height of 1500 meters to 7490 meters from sea level and its area is 1741 square kilometers. Total population of Kalikot district is 136,948 according to census 2068 B.S. (2011 A.D.). Main profession of the residents in this district depends on agriculture. Its agricultural land is 14602.5 hectare  there are 30 V.D.Cs. which are Bharta, Sukatiya, Mugraha, Gela, Odanku, chilkhaya, ranchuli. phuimahadev, jubia, chhapre, pakha, daha, manma, badalkot, ramnakot, thirpu, khin, bhaulagoha. nanikot, phukot, mumra, sipkhana, suna, ranku, kotwada, lalu, malkot, kumalgaon, rupsa, mehalmudi. There is not any Municipality in this district. Main residents of this district are Bramhin, Chhetri, Thakuri, Damai, Kami etc.
