Myagdi District is a district of  Dhaulagiri Zone, administrative headquarters of this district is Beni, situated in Western Development Region of Nepal. It is situated in the height of 951 meters to 8157 meters from sea level and its area is 2297 square kilometers. Total population of Myagdi district is 113,641 according to census 2068 B.S. (2011 A.D.).  Main profession of the residents in this district is agriculture. Its agricultural land is 1158.9 hectare, there are 39 village development committees that are Gurja, Mudi, Kuinemangale, Chimkhola. Dana, Narchyang, Sikha, Tatopani, Dowa, Histan, Ramche, Begkhola, Bhagawati, Dagnam, Piple. Jhi, Patlekhet, Ghatan, Pulachour, Arthunge, Singa, Bhakimli, Jyamrukot, Ratnechaur, Baranja, Niskot, Darbang. Babiyachaur, Kuhun, Pakhapani, Rum, Okharbote, Devisthan, Takam, Muna, Lulang, Marang, bim, bhalkwang. There is not any Municipality in Myagdi district. Main residents of this district are Magar, Bramhin, Chhetri, Kami, Damai etc. A main attraction of this district is the Deepest George of the world, Poon hill, Tatopani kunda, Beni, Galeshwor etc.
