Humla District Nepal
Humla District is a district of Karnali Zone, administrative headquarters of this district is Simikot, located in Mid-Western Development Region of Nepal. It is situated in the height of 1524 meters to 7337 meters from sea level and its area is 5655 square kilometers. Total population of Humla district is 50,858 according to census 2068 B.S. (2011 A.D.). Main profession of the residents in this district is agriculture. Its agricultural land is 5946.6 hectare there are 27 village development committees that are Limi, Muchu, Khagalgaon, Thehe, Heoka, Dandaphaya, Syada, Simikot, Bargain, Chhipra, Kharpunath, Shreemasta, Mimi, Darma, Lali, Rodikot, Gothi, Baraigaon, Raya, Sarkideu, Saya, Melchham Jair, Shreenagar, Madana, Maila, Darma. There is not any Municipality in this district. Main residents of this district are Bramhin, Chhetri, Thakuri, Kami etc.
